About the Founders
Jack currently attends Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua, New Hampshire. Jack started playing lacrosse at age nine and has been passionate about the sport ever since. Jack plays defense for the New Hampshire Tomahawks as well as for Bishop Guertin High School Varsity Lacrosse Team. Jack became interested in stringing his own lacrosse heads early on and has been perfecting the craft over the last several years, stringing over 100 heads for teammates and other lacrosse players in his town. He now wishes to put his skills to use for an important cause, thus Rise Up Lacrosse was born.
Jack loves volunteering his time as an assistant coach for a youth recreational lacrosse team. In addition to lacrosse, Jack loves football, skiing and golf as well as spending time with family, friends and his dog, Storm.
Michael currently attends Windham Middle School in Windham, New Hampshire. Michael began playing lacrosse at age seven around the same time as his older brother, Jack, began playing. Michael plays attack for the New Hampshire Tomahawks as well as for the Windham recreational team. Michael has also put forth an effort in the learning the lacrosse stringing process and provides support stringing heads for Rise Up Lacrosse.
In addition to lacrosse, Michael loves playing football, and enjoys skiing and surfing. He also loves music and spending time with his family, friends and his dog Storm too!
100% of our proceeds go directly to Harlem Lacrosse whose mission is to empower children who are most at risk for academic decline and dropout to rise above their challenges and reach their full potential. Harlem Lacrosse – Boston was launched in the fall of 2016 to serve boys and girls from Mattapan and Dorchester.
